Hey There!
I'm a registered dietitian (RD) with a Master of Science Degree in Nutrition Communication and Behavior Change from Tufts University, The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. I completed my dietetic internship to become an RD at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital.
After becoming an RD, I gained clinical experience working as a cardiac transplant dietitian where I provided inpatient and outpatient nutrition counseling to adults and children before and after receiving heart transplants or left ventricular assist devices (LVADs).
I currently work as the Director of Nutrition for Joy Bauer Ventures, the Health and Nutrition Expert for NBC's TODAY Show where I help plan and produce weekly television segments. I also developed and teach the nutrition curriculum to students at The Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
I enjoy drinking large amounts of strong coffee, making sarcastic jokes, and creating new recipes in my New York City mini kitchen.
